Car driver dies after crash with pick-up truck

A man has died following a crash involving a car and a pick-up truck.

The crash happened on the A33 in Kingsworthy, near Winchester, on Friday shortly after 21:45 BST, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said.

Police said a silver Vauxhall Corsa, travelling on the southbound carriageway, crossed the central reservation and crashed with a pick-up truck travelling northbound.

The driver of the car, a 25-year-old man from Kingsworthy, died at the scene.
