Driver DISQUALIFIED after caught speeding on motorway

Jeannine Ferguson, of Alisons Lane, Didcot[1], was caught on October 17 last year speeding on the M1 between junctions 41 and 40 southbound.

The 51-year-old was caught speeding near West Yorkshire on an automatic speed camera.

Her recorded speed was 86mph in a 70mph speed limit zone.

At Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on July 9, she pleaded guilty and was disqualified for six months due to repeat offending and fined £527.

She was also ordered to pay a £211 victim surcharge of £110 in court costs. Three penalty points were added to her driving record.

The total amount to pay is £848.
