Fresh appeal to find possible witness to horror M62 lorry crash which killed two Ryanair pilots
A fresh appeal has been launched to find a possible witness to an M62 lorry crash that tragically killed two Ryanair pilots.
Matt Greenhalgh, 28, from Stockport[1], and Jamie Fernandes, 24, died at the scene of the major collision as they travelled to Liverpool John Lennon Airport in a taxi in the early hours of last Thursday morning (July 11).
The taxi the pair were travelling in was involved in the crash with two lorries at 5.31am on the westbound carriageway between Junctions 8 and 7. Matt, who was a Ryanair Captain and Jamie, Senior First Officer, were pronounced dead shortly after.
