Live A1307 traffic updates today as crash involving tractor and motorhome blocks road

A major Cambridgeshire A-road is blocked following a crash today (Monday, July 8). A tractor and caravan are involved in the incident on the A1307 Cambridge Road near Fenstanton[1].

The westbound carriageway is blocked as a result of the crash which was first reported at around 9.35am. Traffic[2] is queueing in the area.

A Cambridgeshire Police[3] spokesperson said: “We were called at about 9.20am today (8 July) with reports of a collision between a campervan and a tractor on the A1307 towards Huntingdon[4]. Emergency services are currently at the scene and the road is closed at St Ives.

“Details of injuries are unclear at this stage.”

Inrix, the traffic data company, said: “A1307 Cambridge[6] Road Westbound blocked, queueing traffic due to accident, a overturned tractor and a caravan involved after J27 (Fenstanton).”
