Marcus Rashford’s luxury Range Rover hit by ‘drink driver’ in shock incident with Man United team-mate Tyrell Malacia taken to hospital for checks before being cleared to leave
- A suspected drink-driver collided with Marcus Rashford's car earlier this month
- Rashford was sitting in the vehicle behind and is believed to have been unhurt
- Tyrell Malacia was in the Range Rover and was taken to hospital as a precaution
One of Marcus Rashford's cars was involved in a crash with a suspected drink-driver - with Manchester United[2] team-mate Tyrell Malacia taken to hospital for checks.
As reported by The Sun[3], Rashford's luxury Range Rover Sport collided with a black Mercedes on July 16 in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
Rashford, 26, had been sat in the car behind and his Range Rover was driven by a friend while Dutch defender Malacia was sat in the passenger seat.
Both the unnamed friend and Malacia were sent to hospital as a precaution but they were cleared to leave by doctors after avoiding injury.
It is believed Rashford was not directly impacted by the smash.

A 55-year-old woman, believed to have been behind the wheel of the Mercedes involved in the incident, was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
Cheshire Police confirmed officers attended the scene of a collision between a blue Range Rover Sport and a black Mercedes C220 AMG model earlier this month.
They added a woman was held at the scene and that two men were taken to hospital.
The crash took place two days before Rashford was handed a six-month driving ban.
The forward was caught speeding at 104mph on the M60 in his £560k Rolls Royce but claimed he was driving above the speed limit out of fear he was being chased.
England international Rashford also insisted that he is followed 'all the time'.
The incident, which took place on December 12, came less than two months after the superstar wrecked another sleek Rolls-Royce in a crash.
While there was significant damage to his car, Rashford, along with the other driver involved, managed to walk away unhurt as police officers arrived on scene.

Rashford jetted out to Los Angeles with the rest of United's squad for their pre-season tour
Rashford flew out to Los Angeles with the rest of United's squad on Wednesday for their pre-season tour of the United States while Malacia remained in the UK.
The 24-year-old, who has struck up a close bond with Rashford and has often holidayed with him, was left out of the squad as he continues his injury recovery.
United boss Erik ten Hag, meanwhile, is '100 per cent' confident that Rashford will re-find his goalscoring form after a difficult second campaign under him.
Confident new assistant coach Ruud van Nistelrooy will help the ace, Ten Hag said: 'The reason Ruud is here is clear, he can help the strikers, but he is more than this.
'With Rashford he can only prove himself.
'He scores so many goals already at a relatively young age, he is capable of it. So I am confident, 100 per cent belief, he can do the same as few years ago.'
