Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash with van

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash with a van.

Emergency services were called to Chaxhill, on the A48, near Gloucester, at about 17:25 BST.

The A48 is closed from Elton Corner while emergency services remain at the scene, Gloucestershire Police said.

Motorists were warned of long delays on a the route and have been asked to avoid the area.
