Motorist dies in head-on crash near Rugby

A MOTORIST has died following a head-on crash near Rugby.

At around 12.10pm on Saturday (June 29), a blue Fiat Brava and a yellow Volvo HGV collied as they travelled in the opposite direction on the A5 between Crick and Barby.

The driver of the Fiat, a man in his 60s, died at the scene.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or captured it on a dash-cam.
