People have been evacuated from their homes after a vehicle collided with a gas terminal in Lincolnshire.

Emergency services have placed a 650ft (200m) cordon around the site near the village of Ingham.

Lincolnshire Police said the crash involved two vehicles and there had been reports of minor injuries.

Police said the A15 to Ingham Lane and Stow Lane had been closed.

A spokesperson for the force added: "Work is expected to take some time while emergency services and the gas board work to make the area safe again."

A rest centre has been set up at the Aisthorpe Village Hall, on Village Hall Lane, for people who have been evacuated from their properties.

Roads information service Inrix said the B1398 in Ingham was also closed and there was "heavy traffic" in the area.
