A48 traffic live: Crash blocking road in both directions

There are reports of a serious crash on a major A-road^[1] in Gloucestershire. The A48 near Blakeney has been blocked in both directions following an incident.

It is understood that a van is on its roof and a car blocking the road, although there has been no official confirmation yet. Emergency services are said to be on the way.

The crash has happened between the church and Chicknalls Lane, according to a traffic and travel site. Multiple sirens have been heard in the area.
