Moray crash near Elgin sees cyclist taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital for treatment

A cyclist has been treated in hospital after a collision with a van.

The 75-year-old man was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin following the incident on the A941 at Fogwatt.

The road was closed for a period following the crash yesterday but has since reopened.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 9.30am on Sunday, August 11, 2024 we were called to a report of a collision involving a van and a cyclist on the A941 at Fogwatt, Elgin.

“Emergency services attended and the cyclist, a 75-year-old man, was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
