There were three hours of traffic jams in and around Aviemore’s diversions following last night’s crash on the A9
Highland Police have confirmed that last night’s A9 crash at Aviemore hospitalised three people.
A spokesman this morning told the Strathy: “We were called to a crash involving a car, a van and an HGV on the A9 north of the junction with the B9152 near Aviemore around 4.45pm on Friday, 2 August.
“Three people were taken to hospital for treatment.
“The road was closed for around three hours and subsequently reopened.”
Roads through and around Aviemore were jam-packed as emergency services – police, ambulance and a fire crew from Kingussie – dealt with the incident and ultimately cleared the accident scene.
