A BUSINESS owner sobbed as he appeared in court for assaulting his ex-girlfriend before stalking her over three months.

Aiden Cupid, of Cheltenham Street in Barrow[1], was sentenced at Preston Crown Court on August 2 after pleading guilty to charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and stalking involving serious alarm or distress.

Barrow woman used abusive language towards NHS mental health nurse

A WOMAN who used abusive language towards a nurse at Furness General Hospital has appeared in court.

Bethany Armstrong admitted she used abusive language towards the nurse at the A&E department waiting room on June 26 this year, South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court heard.
