A CELTIC fan was killed in a horror crash on a motorway after he boarded the wrong bus following a match.

The dad-of-one was dropped off in Carlisle after getting on the wrong bus, reports the Daily Record[3].

It’s understood he was hit by a vehicle later that evening, just after 8pm.

So far, more than £1,400 has been raised.

One person wrote: ” Heartbreaking outcome. John, it was a pleasure to know you pal.”

A second said: “Such a good guy gone too soon.”

A third added: “Heartbreaking, a lovely young man.”

Cumbria Police is urging anyone who may have been travelling along the M6 at junction 42 or could have dashcam footage, to get in touch.
