Long delays as crash closes part of M40

There are long delays as part of a motorway has been closed in Warwickshire following an accident.

Warwickshire Police said the M40 northbound, between junction 12 for Gaydon and junction 13 for Warwick, was likely to remain closed for some time.

The accident involved a lorry and a van, according to traffic data company Inrix.

The force added that the closure included access from Warwick services, and asked the public to avoid the area.
