Lorry overturns on busy Scots motorway in gale-force winds during rush-hour

A lorry has overturned in high winds on a busy motorway during rush-hour.

Emergency services[1] scrambled to the M8 in Edinburgh after the alarm was raised shortly after 9am on Tuesday. Traffic Scotland warned drivers that lane two was blocked just after Hermiston Gait Roundabout Westbound following the incident.

Drivers were told to take care on the approach while police[2] and fire crews attend the scene. There are no reported injures as a result.
