Police issue update after crash closes road
A woman was taken to hospital and a man arrested following a serious crash, police have confirmed. Dyfed-Powys Police are investigating the crash which involved a black Toyota pick-up truck and trailer and a blue Harley-Davidson motorcycle on the A485 between Lampeter and Llangybi, Ceredigion[1], on Monday.
The force confirmed that the female rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. A 66-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving. He has been released under investigation pending further police inquiries.
The road was closed for several hours following the crash shortly before 3pm and reopened just after 7pm.
