Police search for Akashdeep Singh, 23, as woman dies in M40 multi-vehicle crash
Police have named a man who may have information about a horrific multi-vehicle crash on the M40 which left a woman dead. The Warwickshire force identified 23-year-old Akashdeep Singh as someone officers wanted to speak to after the tragedy last night, Saturday, September 28.
The emergency services were called to the northbound carriageway, between junctions 11 and 12, after reports of a multi-vehicle collision at around 7.15pm. A woman in her 50s died in a crash involving five cars and a Peugeot boxer van.
Police said the driver of the Peugeot was believed to have left the area on foot. Singh was believed to have connections to Oldbury in the West Midlands, Warwickshire Police[1] said.
