Car and lorry smash prompts delays on A2 at A256 Whitfield Roundabout near Dover

Traffic has cleared on the A2 following a crash involving a car and a lorry.

There had been reports of queues following the incident on the dual carriageway at A256 Whitfield Hill (Whitfield Roundabout).

However, police confirmed there were no injuries and the road was clear by around 11.15am.

Traffic monitoring system Inrix has reported the smash took place on the roundabout.
