Debris closes M25 near Watford after transporter lorry crash
Herts Police were called to the motorway twice this morning (October 21) as Hertfordshire County Council Highways warned of “long delays” for motorists heading anticlockwise.
The force had been contacted at around 6.36am with reports of a smash involving a car transporter lorry and a black Kia Rio near junction 23.
It was logged as “damage only”.
Around an hour later, Highways shared a live traffic map showing miles of congestion stretching from Uxbridge to Abbots Langley – which it said was due to a crash.

Herts Police have confirmed they were called to reports of debris near junction 22 and attended the scene alongside Highways officers, before the motorway was reopened.
