Emergency services called to serious crash on A14

Emergency services have been called to a serious crash on the A14 near Newmarket that has closed a carriageway.

The incident happened at about 6pm on the A14^[1] westbound between junction 37 for Newmarket and junction 36 for the A11 when a lorry and a car crashed into each other.

Cambridgeshire Police, the East of England Ambulance Service, Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service and the East Anglian Air Ambulance are all at the scene.
