Heartbreaking family tribute to ‘caring and selfless man’ who died in crash
A man who died in a collision with a lorry has been named by police. Phillip Ventress, from near Lutterworth[1], has been described as the “most caring and selfless man” in a heartbreaking family tribute.
Philip, who was 50, died on Wednesday, October 2, after his Hyundai Ioniq collided with a lorry on the A361 in Northamptonshire, between Ashby St Ledgers and Daventry. In a heartbreaking tribute[2], Phillip’s family described as a man who “loved being a father”.
They said: “We are absolutely devastated to have lost Phil. He was the most caring and selfless man, who would do anything for anyone and loved being a father. Phil’s proudest achievement was our family. He was such a hands-on dad and so involved in our children’s lives.”
