M6 live traffic updates after lorry overturns near slip road

A slip road to the M6 is currently closed after a lorry overturned. The M6 J20A southbound link road to the M56 J9 eastbound is closed following a crash involving an overturned HGV.

Emergency services and traffic officers are on scene. National Highways said: “Please allow extra journey time if in the area this afternoon.”

Traffic management system Inrix states: “M6 Southbound exit slip road to the M56 eastbound closed due to accident at J20 M56 J9 (Lymm Interchange). Traffic is coping well.”
