Major road Leicester closed following collision
A major Leicester road was closed this morning (Wednesday, October 23) following a crash. Leicester Area Traffic Control reported that the A563 Braunstone Way, in Braunstone Town was closed to traffic on the ring road from A47 New Parks Way roundabout to Meridan.
The traffic service warned drivers to “huge delays” and advised motorists to use an alternative route. The update was posted at 7.34am today. Images from the scene showed a van with a damaged wheelbase.
