Major road reopens after crash involving tanker

A major road has reopened after a crash involving a sewage tanker and a car.

The crash[1] happened just before 07:00 BST on Tuesday on the A267 at Cross in Hand, near Heathfield, and the road was shut until about 07:00 the following day.

Four people in the car were seriously injured and the lorry driver was uninjured.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Sussex Police.
