Man arrested after motorcyclist dies in crash at Lincolnshire village crossroads
A man has been arrested[1] after a motorcyclist died in a crash[2] in a Lincolnshire village. Police[3] were called to the incident at the A607 crossroads with the B1202 at Boothby Graffoe on the afternoon of Friday, October 11.
The crash involved a silver Peugeot Boxer van and a grey Lexmoto LXS motorcycle. Officers said that the motorcyclist, a 30-year-old man, died from his injuries and that specially trained officers were supporting his family.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drink. He has been bailed while investigations continue. Police are now appealing to the public for more information about the crash.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We are appealing for any information and are asking anyone who saw either vehicle, before or after the collision, to get in touch. Officers are particularly keen to hear from those who have dashcam footage.
