Motorcyclist, 20, in serious condition after crash

A 20-year-old motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries in a crash in Moray.

The collision with a van happened on the A941 Lossiemouth to Elgin road, south of its junction with the B9135, at about 22:00 on Tuesday.

The male biker was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment, where he was said to be in a serious condition.

Police Scotland - appealing for witnesses or dash-cam footage, external ^[1] - said the road was closed for 12 hours to allow an accident investigation, but had now re-opened.
