Woman rushed to hospital after car and lorry crash on the A14 in Cambridgeshire

A woman has been injured after a crash involving a lorry and a car^[1] on the A14^[2] in Cambridgeshire^[3]. The incident at Bar Hill near Cambridge ^[4]took place at around 2.30pm on Friday (October 11).

An East of England Ambulance Service^[5] spokesperson said: "We were called just after 2.30pm to a road traffic ^[6]collision between a lorry and car on the A14 near Hemingford Abbots.

"An ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle and a rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene. An adult woman was transported to Hinchingbrooke Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
