Woman seriously injured as van and car crash in Somerset village

A woman has been left with potentially life-changing injuries in a collision this morning, Tuesday, October 15. A van and a car collided on the A367 in the village of Peasedown St John[1].
The incident happened soon after 7am this morning. The crash took place close to the junction of Bath Road and the A367.
The road was closed in both directions[2] and there were long delays in the area. Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue[3] attended the incident as well as paramedics from South Western Ambulance Service[4].
