Full horror of fatal A5 Tamworth crash revealed as biker hit by lorry

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash after coming off his bike in an earlier collision. The victim, a man in his 20s, was fatally struck by a Scania HGV which also hit a Vauxhall.

It happened on the A5 in Tamworth^[1] after the Yamaha bike had collided with a white Mercedes on the eastbound carriageway. Debris from the first collision hit the Vauxhall, which was travelling in the opposite direction, before the fatal crash, which happened at around 7.15pm on Wednesday, November 7.

The biker died at the scene and a woman in her 50s, who was driving the Vauxhall, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
