There are major delays across Plymouth this evening as two significant traffic events unfold in the city. Huge delays have formed across the Tamar Bridge after a lorry shed its load, while Union Street is once again blocked by a crash.
Tamar Crossings said there are lane restrictions in place across the bridge this evening. Cameras show long queues building westbound, as commuters try and head home for the evening.

Meanwhile, Union Street has been blocked in both directions by a crash this afternoon. Eyewitnesses have reported emergency services are at the scene of the crash, at the city centre-side of the road, near Western Approach.
One said: "Police have blocked off part of Union Street." Another witness said: "There are a bunch of blue lights currently at the top of union street buses have been diverted."
Traffic monitor Inrix reports: "A374 Union Street in both directions blocked, delays due to accident from The Garage to The British Heart Foundation."
