Man dies after being hit by van

A man has died after being hit by a van on the A46 carriageway in Warwickshire.

Warwickshire Police said the incident happened just after 00:00 GMT between Bishopston Hill Island and the junction with Alcester Road in Stratford-upon-Avon.

The 53-year-old had been riding a bike, police said.

The force appealed for anyone with information to come forward, particularly if they had dashcam footage.
