Real Madrid team bus involved in motorway crash

The Real Madrid team bus was involved in a collision on a motorway following the their Champion's League fixture in Liverpool.

The collision, which also involved a lorry and a car, took place on the M40 southbound between between junction 16, near Hockley Heath and 15, for Longbridge Island, on Thursday afternoon.

Footage posted on social media showed the front of the damaged vehicle pressed against the rear of a lorry trailer near Lapworth, Warwickshire.

The driver was treated for for minor injuries.

It is not thought any players were on board at the time.
