Two men killed in A5 crash in Shropshire as police appeal for information

Two men were killed in a rush hour crash. It involved a blue Peugeot estate and a grey Renault box van and happened on the A5 near Mile End roundabout at Oswestry[1], at around 5pm on Monday, November 18.

The Peugeot was travelling westbound towards Oswestry and the Renault was travelling in the opposite direction before they collided. The driver of the van, a 33-year-old man, and the driver of the car, an 81-year-old man, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two passengers in the van suffered minor injuries. Police appealed for information following the tragedy.
