A38 reopens after after serious crash near Ashburton
There was a serious crash on the A38 this afternoon[1] (Monday, December 16). The eastbound carriageway was closed near Ashburton following the collision involving a HGV and a pedestrian. Devon and Cornwall Police said the pedestrian was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The A38 reopened and traffic returned to normal by 5.10pm.
Inrix says: "Traffic easing, earlier accident on A38 Expressway Northbound from B3352 (Peartree Junction) to Lorn Haven Business Park."
