A4103 at Yarkhill remains closed after fatal crash
Police, paramedics, and fire crews were called at around 1am on Monday (December 16) to the A4103 at Yarkhill.[1] A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said that on arrival, crews found two vehicles on fire. "Sadly, it quickly became clear the driver of the car could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene.
"The driver of the lorry, a man, was already out of the vehicle when crews arrived. "He was treated for serious, but not life-threatening, injuries and conveyed to Hereford County Hospital." According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the road remains closed for accident investigation work between the A417 near Newtown, and Shucknall.

"The collision happened around 1am when a blue Vauxhall Corsa collided with an HGV lorry. "The driver of the Corsa, an 18-year-old man, was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. "The driver of the HGV was taken to Hereford County Hospital with serious injuries.
"Officers would like to speak to anybody who may have seen the collision or from anybody who has dash cam footage from around the time it happened.
