Beloved dad dies two days after lorry crash on busy A-road

A man who died following a crash on a busy A-road has been named as Balhar Singh Gill. The 62-year-old dad was stationary in a white Citroen Berlingo van on the eastbound carriageway of the A50 in Staffordshire[1] when his vehicle was hit by a Mercedes lorry. He was rushed to hospital at around 7.01pm on Tuesday, December 10, after suffering a serious head injury.

Sadly, he went on to die two days later on Thursday, December 12. The beloved dad, who was from Leicester, has since been described as a "steady presence" by his devestated family. They said in a statement: "We are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of a father, husband, brother and uncle.
