Dad dies in Royal Stoke two days after HGV hit his van in A50 horror crash

The grief-stricken family of a dad who died in hospital two days after his van was hit by an HGV on the A50 have paid tribute to him. Balhar Singh Gill was today described by relatives as a 'steady presence' who 'left too soon' The 62-year-old had been stationary in a white Citroen Berlingo van on the eastbound side near to Blythe Bridge, just before the Creswell Road overbridge at 7.05pm on Tuesday, December 10, when a Mercedes lorry collided [1]with him.
