A collision between a cyclist and car in Inverness has sparked a police appeal. Officers in the Highland capital have appealed for witnesses[1] to the incident, which occurred in the Merkinch area of the city on Tuesday, November 26. A police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses to come forward who saw a cyclist struck by a dark coloured car in Merkinch, Inverness, about 4.35pm on Tuesday, November 26.

"The car pulled out of Lochalsh Road, and the cyclist was travelling along Dunabban Road. "We hope that people in the area may have seen the make, model and VRM of the car which will assist our enquiries." If you have any information, contact police on 101 quoting "incident reference 1111 of 28/11/2024".
