Live: Lorry crash shuts Somerset road in both directions

A crash involving a lorry has closed a road in Somerset both ways this evening. The A30 London Road has been shut at Milborne Port, near Sherborne, as of around 6pm today (Friday, December 13). Delays are being reported in both directions between East Street and the turn off for Purse Caundle.

It has been reported that a lorry is involved. Traffic monitoring system Inrix says: "A30 London Road in both directions closed, delays due to accident, a lorry involved between East Street and Purse Caundle turning." This is a live blog.
