M74 crash: Driver dies & two others in hospital after Porsche ploughs into multiple vehicles & hits central reservation
A MAN tragically died and two women were injured in a horror crash on a Scots motorway last night. The fatal collision[1] happened at around 6pm on Sunday on Junction 2 near Rutherglen on the M74. A 65-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
He was driving[2] a Porsche[3] Boxter which collided with several vehicles before crashing into the central reservation of the Southbound carriageway. A 45-year-old woman driving a Nissan[4] Lead and a 42-year-old woman in a BMW[5] 2 series were both rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University[6] Hospital[7] for treatment. The M74 was closed in both directions while cops[8] investigated.
