Man due in court accused of filming fatal crash

A man is due to appear in court after a video showing the scene of a fatal crash was shared on social media.

On 4 June at about 17:40 BST a car, van and motorcycle were involved in a crash on the A14 westbound carriageway[1] at Sproughton, Suffolk.

The motorcyclist died at the scene and later identified as Kevin Doherty, 44, from Somersham, Cambridgeshire.

A 38-year-old man from Ipswich was arrested after the video was shared and is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates' Court on 19 December where he will be formally charged with two offences.
