Pedestrian raced to hospital following early Boxing Day horror smash in sleepy Scots village
A PEDESTRIAN has been rushed to hospital after an early Boxing Day horror smash involving a vehicle. Emergency services[1] raced to the scene at the A77 in Lochans, near to Stranraer, at around 6.10am this morning[2].

The A77 is closed due to an ongoing incidentCredit: SuppliedA female pedestrian was taken to hospital[3] but it is not known at this stage what condition she is in. It is not known if the driver of the vehicle was injured.
The A77 between Stranraer and Portpatrick was closed with local diversions in place for several hours. Cops[4] asked the public to avoid the area.
