Police dog Kira and handler PC Whitehouse were deployed, crossing a field, scaling a wall then following a dirt track, before the clever canine located the two men hiding inside a van on the farmland. Both were arrested on suspicion of burglary, theft of motor vehicle, failing to stop for police and driving whilst under the influence of drugs.
They were questioned and have been released on conditional bail whilst police enquiries continue.
