Worthing: Man remains in hospital following A27 crash

The incident took place on the A27 Warren Road at around 4.15pm on Friday, December 6. The 75-year-old man from Worthing was taken to hospital after the crash involving a Mercedes van. A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Police are continuing to appeal for information following a serious collision in Worthing.

"Officers were called to the collision involving a Mercedes Vito van and a pedestrian on the A27 Warren Road at around 4.15pm on Friday (6 December).

"The pedestrian, a 75-year-old local man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he remains.

"Anyone with information or footage is asked to email [email protected] and quote Operation Pike."
