A31 and M27 hit by National Highway road works next week

National Highways will be completing barrier work on the A31 and junction 1 of the M27 in early February. From Saturday, February 1 and Monday, February 3, the road will be closed throughout the night and early in the morning. The closure has been put in place during the night in order to minimise the impact on drivers with work only taking place between 9pm and 6am.

This closure is set to affect those travelling from Ringwood to Cadnam during the night and drivers are asked to find an alternative route.

A more than 12-mile-long stretch of the A31 and M27 is set to be affected as a result of this work.

This comes as National Highways is also completing resurfacing on the M27 between junctions 5 and 7.
