Cops hunting footage after cyclist hit by ‘unknown’ vehicle

The incident happened on Wednesday, January 22, on the slip road for the A737 leading towards Johnstone, near the Lincline Interchange in Paisley. Officers were alerted to the collision shortly after 5pm.

During it, they say a cyclist in high-visibility clothing was struck by a motor.

Now, cops probing the crash are urging anyone with information, or dashcam footage of it, to get in touch. A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam footage following a collision whereby a cyclist in high-visibility clothing was struck by an unknown vehicle on the slip road for the A737 leading towards Johnstone, near to the Linclive interchange, Paisley. "The incident occurred at 5.03pm hours on Wednesday, January 22.
