Lorry crashes into ‘most bashed’ railway bridge
A railway bridge in Leicestershire has been struck by a lorry for the second time in a week.
Leicestershire Police said emergency services were called to the A5 Watling Street in Hinckley at about 09:15 GMT on Friday.
The road was closed in both directions, the force said, adding that nobody was injured in the crash.
It comes days after a lorry last struck the bridge, previously dubbed the "most bashed in Britain"[1], on Sunday.
