Drivers on the M6 face delays after an overturned vehicle has led to closures in both directions. The incident occurred in the early hours of this morning with lane closures from J36 A590 (Kirkby Lonsdale) to J37 A684 (Kendal).

Two lanes have been closed, according to the AA. It comes after a similar disruption impacted the M25 after a lorry ploughed into the central reservation before falling sideways across the carriageway.
