M26 crash between Junction 2A for Wrotham and M25 causing delays
Part of a motorway was closed after a lorry crashed off the carriageway. The vehicle left the road at around 2.30am and went through a barrier on the M26 between Junction 2A near Wrotham[1] and the M25 near Sevenoaks[2].

National Highways confirmed at around 10.25am that the incident had been cleared up and the M26 was reopened.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police officers attended following a collision involving a lorry and a car on the M26 at 2.30am. "No serious injuries were reported and Highways officers are working to recover the lorry involved." It comes after the highways agency issued a warning to drivers to be alert after a severe weather warning including ice and snow was issued[3] for the weekend.

A diversion has been put in place and people are being told to exit the M26 at Junction 2A and take the third exit onto the M20 at Junction 2.
They should then carry on the M20 to Junction 1 and then join the M25 at Junction 3 heading clockwise.
Finally, you should continue on the M25 towards Junction 5 to carry on your journey.
