Nine drivers slapped with points and fines for taking pics of crash

Nine drivers will have been slapped with six points and fines after police caught them taking photos of the A34 crash on Saturday, January 25. The police said: "Good news, the driver involved in this morning's collision on the A34 south of Tot Hill was completely uninjured. We are on scene at a collision on the A34 between Tothill Services and Litchfield.

At the moment both North & South carriageways are closed, we are hopeful to reopen 1 lane in each direction shortly. This is likely to cause disruption throughout the day due to barrier damage. pic.twitter.com/H6ilpkovY7[2]

"Not such good news will soon be landing on the doormats of at least nine drivers (including four HGV drivers!) whom officers witnessed taking photographs of the scene on their phones. "If this was you, please expect six points and a fine.

To the young Portsmouth fan en route to the West Bromwich match, not only did Pompey lose, but you're going to lose your licence under the new driver rules.

"Yes, holding your phone and using it for any purpose whilst driving is distracting, dangerous and an offence.
